Rivals Philly and NY will sqare off tonight in a much anticipated matchup during the divisional round of the playoffs. Let me just say that being a Growing up in Jersey and Living in NYC for a few years… I just despise all things Philly. Now that is not bringing any bias to the table on this prediction because I was on the Eagles band wagon at the start of the season and have now had the Giants grow on me. Also, there is NO BIAS in betting.
Now let’s talk facts…The Giants have failed to win consecutive games since November, but they have covered the spread in seven of their last eight games. They also only had one single win in five divisional games but have covered the spread in four of them. In total they are 8-1 ATS on the road. Philly on the other hand came into this season guns blazing undefeated for a long time until Jalen Hurt got Hurt (No pun intended). He’s back now and they have finally clinched the top seed in NFC but they are still only 6-3 ATS at home and 8-9 ATS in total. The Giants are coming into this divisional round being ranked as the lowest seed remaining but they know this team well and in Week 18 they kept things close.

I know alot of people are thinking that Philly is undervalued in this. They have, after all, won the last nine matchups against NY at their home ground of Lincoln Financial Field by an average of 10 points. The Giants are on the come up however and at +8 I like those odds. Nothing short of a miracle will result in an outright win but I am going with the Giants to cover on this one. They will no doubt keep this one within a touchdown... Backing the giants to cover the spread.
