North Western battles Maryland tonight in what should be an entertaining Big 10 Showdown. The Wildcats have the better record at 19-8 overall and 10-6 Big 10 compared to the Terrapins 15-13 / 7-10. Theses teams are also on different trajectories at the moment. Northwestern while having a much better record has been a little inconsistent as of late winning just 4 of their last 5 games. Maryland needs to win at least two more games and the regular season is almost over. As mentioned they are coming off a massive win against Rutgers and seems like they are going to make those two wins happen. Maryland is also at home and is known to be one of those teams with that solid homeport boost. I think I am going to get alot of disagreements with this one but I like Maryland here. They have been playing very well lately and are hungry I will be taking The Terps to cover.
